Mr. Saliterman has over 19 years of experience in acquiring, financing, operating and disposing of income producing real estate properties. Mr. Saliterman provides oversight of acquisitions, dispositions, financing and asset management for RSRC. Prior to co-founding RSRC, he spent six years working for Equity Residential as an acquisition and disposition officer, during which time he has overseen $1.1 billion in transactions. He worked as an acquisition officer from 2003-2008, underwriting and overseeing the due diligence process. In 2009 Mr. Saliterman worked as a disposition officer where he worked as asset manager on listed properties, with buyers on their due diligence and with buyers to obtain financing from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. He has overseen the closing of approximately $200M in dispositions during the challenging 2009 environment.
Prior to Equity Residential, Mr. Saliterman worked for one year with Tishman Speyer in San Francisco, two years for JP Morgan in San Francisco and New York, and two years for Prudential Mortgage Capital Corporation in Atlanta.
At Tishman Speyer Mr. Saliterman worked on underwriting potential acquisitions, financing portfolio properties and sale transactions. Mr. Saliterman worked on the sale of a $135M office building in Santa Clara as well as the refinancing of a second office building in Silicon Valley.
Mr. Saliterman completed a two-year analyst program in real estate investment banking while working for JP Morgan from 2000 to 2002. He worked on corporate securities offerings, fund advisory and equity
raises, and M&A/LBO transactions for large corporate clients. While at Prudential from 1998 to 2000, Mr. Saliterman worked as a junior underwriter across all property types for portfolio loans in the Southeast region.
Mr. Saliterman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Emory University (1998 with High Honors).
